Quality

 First of all, let me thank you for taking the time to read through my forward. Alright, now down to business. I know the quality of this comic isn't that great (a.k.a. it sucks) but in a way that's sort of the point of it all. Demon Gate started as a mental adventure which brought my personal fantasies and desires to life, such as the ability to fly and kick some major butt, thus creating the characters Doayn and Harex as well as others who will be showing some of my more evil desires. For years Demon Gate went on with out even the slightest thought of it being published in any form let alone a web comic. Now with an impending graduation (2005) and desire for an art degree from collage a means of improvement was required, thus the birth of Demon Gate, a web comic, was created. Now it is my own personal project to raise this hideous little chick with bad dialogue and a crappy layout into a true work of art which will rub off into all projects I will complete from paintings to photo manipulations to animations. And maybe I'll learn how to spell along the way...jeesh!


Demon Gate Summery

What's this comic about? That's simple, Demon Gate is about my own version of a fairy world. It's got some religious aspects, I know, but if your the kind that doesn't go for all that, it's only bad in the beginning. For the most part it's a typical adventure story with my two main characters, Daoyn and Harex. They layout of it will be a bit confusing, in that every other chapter will jump around so that every even chapter will be a side story and every odd chapter will be the root story chronologically. The even and odd chapter style may vary in it's context, but the jumping style will remain the same until the very end of the comic. Demon Gate will take approximately 5 years to complete (and I do plan for a very explosive ending where my art and story portraying skills will be at top rate, and naturally some pretty shocking events and secrets will be revealed!).
Why should you read this comic? Well personally, and I may be a bit bias, but I think it's a generally good story, and soon the art and portrayal of the story will follow!
